Ads on Breitbart.com – Brands Blame Technology

The New York Times wrote an article about brands being shamed by a Twitter account called “Sleeping Giants” into stopping advertising on the Breitbart News website. Some have not, however:

Other brands, including Nissan, have said they aim to reach as many customers as possible and do not plan to change their advertising strategy based on complaints from some consumers.

And Acura’s client relations initially responded to consumer complaints in a series of tweets that they were not going to change their advertising strategy, but later deleted these tweets (this screenshot was taken before they were deleted):
