We started in 2016. I built and sold an advertising technology company from 2008 to 2013 and through this process have realized what a big gap there is at the consumer level for tools to help understand and interpret what advertisers and websites are doing with our data, when we need tools to protect our privacy and attention, but also to shine a light on companies who are doing advertising the right way. There is more good in people than bad, but in digital advertising specifically it seems like more of the bad gets expressed – this site is here to shine a light on good as well as bad.

We want to encourage discussion between people and the ad/data/publishing industries.
